Guide on choosing a good tuition teacher

Chinese language tutors

Most good Chinese language tutors are those who have an interest in Chinese. Good ones usually have gone through A-levels. A better bet would be older tutors (>35 years) because they have gone through the old syllabus when Chinese language is much harder.

Speak only Singlish?

If your tutor cannot speak English well, their Chinese is usually quite good. There's definitely no need to look for graduate tutors to teach languages as you need to pay more for little reason. People usually do not learn Chinese in the university so being a graduate does not improve their credentials.

An example of a good chinese language tutor

Incidentally, my mum is a terrific tutor and she does full time tuition at home. If you near Loyang , you just might want to look for her. She has more than 20 loyal students that she has taught for more than 5 years. How's that for a good track record?
