More Information About This Class

At the beginning of J1, I first struggled with Chemistry because I was not able to understand the concepts and question requirements. However, after numerous consultations with my teacher and doing of practice papers, I was soon able to fully understand the concepts taught in school. After which, I started to enjoy the subject and learning it became a breeze. With a set of comprehensive notes I compiled myself and ample practice, I managed to pull up my Chemistry grade from a D during Mid Years to an A for the Promos examination.

In J2, the subject continued to be manageable for me because I was able to grasp the concepts and understand the question requirements fully. Throughout J2, I peer tutored my friends who had difficulty sharpening their answer and understanding the content. I also shared my compiled notes of commonly asked questions for A Levels and their answering techniques with my friends. Eventually, all of us managed to attain an A grade for our A Levels.

Hence, I am confident that I am able to teach the student effective answering techniques and points to include in his/her answer in order for him/her to do well. As a recent A Level graduate, I understand and remember the high demands this subject entails and would like to help fellow JC students excel in this subject.

For each lesson, I will be covering the content of a particular topic and practice questions regarding the specific topic. In the lead up to school/national examinations, I will be focusing on answering techniques and the practice of past year school papers and the ten year series. Additionally, I will be drilling the student for MCQ so that he/she is able to master the MCQ section before the examination.
