More Information About This Class
Your child will be engaged in hands-on learning through the use of concrete objects and learning experiences to prepare them for Primary One.
Class is opened for K1 and K2 children.
For English- the main focus will be on phonics, to enable your child to develop into an independent and confident reader, a step-by-step approach will be used to build a strong foundation over their English language.
Your child will also learn grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, sentence building and simple story-writing in class.
For Math- children will be engaged in hands on counting using concrete objects. Verbal story sums will be introduced for your child to work on subtraction and addition concepts. Other topics such as Graph, Length, Weight, Time and Money will also be introduced in a fun and contextual way in class.
Tutor's Experience
I have taught and is still teaching in a Private Montessori Kindergarten for 9 years.
Currently teaching a K2 child on 1-1 private class.
