At YSAW (Young Scientists At Work), we believe that learning maths requires both hands-on activities as well as paperwork!
We encourage our students to apply maths concepts to things they see and do in daily life! Parents will be surprised that their children start explaining daily activities/sightings using maths and science concepts!
Parents may have the misconception that school and play should be segregated. However, we need to understand that children of this generation are different from the children of our generation! With the exposure to iPads and smartphones, our children now becomes more restless. We need to better engage their minds by teaching concepts in an interesting and interactive way! One day, your child will say "I want to attend more tuition classes rather than playing with phones and computers!". Let this be our common goal.

Tutor's Experience
I am an experienced tutor with 5 years of teaching experience. I graduated from NUS Psychology and strongly believe in teaching in an interactive way to engage my students in learning. In my class, we do not use assessment books as I create my lesson materials to cater to my student's needs. On the way, students get to take part in experiments/projects to deepen their understanding of the topic!
