Tutor's Experience
I've been a private tutor in Singapore for more than 15 years and have experience with teaching Maths, Sciences and English language. Most of my students show significant improvement and end up scoring 75% and above for their GCE 'O' levels. I specialise in Secondary 1-5 grade Mathematics (A & E) and Pure and Combined Chemistry, Physics, Biology. I also have more than 3 years experience teaching International Baccalaureate (IB) and Integrated Programme (IP) syllabus.
Exams are not the be all and end off of a student's life! I believe learning should be fun and interactive rather than just pure memorisation and regurgitation . First, I will help you to understand the concepts using analogies, mind maps and concept diagrams, making them less daunting. From there, you'll cultivate an interest in what you are learning by making it real and applicable in everyday real-world applications. Slowly, as your grades improve, your confidence will get better and you will learn to enjoy the subjects and the learning as it was meant to be. Your good grades will naturally follow when you use this mindset to approach your learning!
