More Information About This Class
The class will reinforce basic grammar rules, as well as build up the students' vocabulary through exercises and group conversations and exercises.
Before the classes start, I will request to see the students' previous homework to assess the level they are at so as to determine the best method and pace to proceed. During class, I will help students with homework and essays, as well as give them additional exercises to strengthen their language skills.
The session will be hands-on and the students will be actively engaged with me, as well as one another to work towards improving their language skills through conversations, writing, and quizzes. Each week, I will revise what their schools have gone through, as well as give them extra practice and new vocabulary words which I will test them on in an informal and stress-free group setting.

Hello, my name is Shina. I am a 20 year old female undergraduate, currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy at Yale-NUS in Singapore, under a PSC scholarship.
I stay on campus for most of the week, but return to my house in Hougang on the weekends to be with my family and closer to my friends. I hope to provide tuition services as a way to make some extra income as a student and am teaching English as it is a language that I am very proficient in and do enjoy very much. I believe that it is important to build a strong language foundation in children and hope that I will be able to provide a fun and engaging setting for students to learn.
