More Information About This Class
English Language (Lower Secondary)
This course is designed to help students to understand and cope with the new demands of the secondary
school syllabus. It also targets students’ weaker areas, especially in grammar and vocabulary. A strong foundation in these areas will make writing at upper secondary level a breeze.
The course will also give a good introduction to the requirements of the comprehension paper and the whole range of skills (eg: understanding metaphors, sarcasm, irony etc) needed for one to score in the paper.

I started my teaching career in China in a multi-national company, conducting English Language classes for adults. After spending two years in the country, I came back to Singapore and graduated with a post-graduate diploma in teaching with NIE.
I have been teaching English to local secondary school students since 2003. I also have had experience teaching international students from China and other countries.
