More Information About This Class
This course is for Pre-school students to master Chinese Pinyin and some most basic Chinese characters so as to better prepare for entering local primary school. This course focuses on the teaching of Pinyin systematically by using the picture books, songs, and art craft. It is closely following with the curriculum of MOE schools and it allows children to learn with fun and high efficiency. The children shall build up a certain foundation of spoken Chinese firstly before training them with Chinese characters and strokes.
Duration of each course will be 1.5 hours, divided into two parts. Each part is 40 minutes with a rest of 10 minutes in between.
1.The 1st part: 15 minutes to warm up, 15 minutes to learn new syllables, and 10 minutes to consolidate
2.The 2nd part: 20 minutes of text (a picture book story / a song / a handcraft activity), 20 minutes of game activities (word card, bingo etc)
Through this course, children can learn:
1. Pinyin and tone, the relationship between pinyin and Chinese characters
2. Complete Pinyin table, which can better prepare for the Chinese language course in primary school
3. Enriched activities to inspire children interest of Chinese by fun stories, children's songs and fun games
