Students for Chem who attend our lessons will be equipped to be able to strengthen their answering techniques, such as be able to distinguish between the basics on isotopes of different numbers and neutrons present, how to describe the distribution of mass and charges within an atom and calculating the enthalpy changes from experimental results, or to explain questions like chemical reactions are accompanied by energy change or explain redox processes in terms of electron transfer, etc.

Overall, our Combined Sci students will realise that they do not need to spend lots of time in revision as they have internalised a wide range of exam skills, especially the skills that involves explaining the answers to structured questions easily! They even will find that getting an ‘A1’ in Chemistry Exams is indeed possible.

Similarly, for the Physics component, we cover the most commonly tested topics such as Electricity and Magnetism. Unsurprisingly, the relative tough questions involve the fusion of the 2 concepts, namely electromagnetic induction. Thus, we make sure our Combined Science Physics students are experts in this sectional topic!
