More Information About This Class

Migrating here at a young age from abroad, English wasn't my native tongue and I found it difficult to pick up the language initially. However, through hard work and diligence, I managed to overcome the hurdles to attain competency in the language. I empathize with the struggles some students may face when tackling the subject, especially when English isn't such a 'black & white' subject, unlike the Sciences whereby through brute force, a succinct answer can usually be obtained.

What I am bringing to the table as an English tutor: my own set of study methodologies for English that I used as a student to allow me to clinch stellar results for O level English (A1). More importantly, an empathetic spirit that would allow me to see problems from the tutee's point of view, because I too have been in their shoes before.

I am free on most days, rates are negotiable (~$30), and I am willing to travel to student's location as well.
