Are you sitting for IB exams in May 2017? Tried the 2016 papers and find it hard? Are you serious about scoring a 5, 6 or 7 for Physics HL?
Not getting enough support for option topics? Need to clarify some doubts you had all along?
Join the IB Physics Structured Revision Program conducted by Mr. Dileep Wijewardena (Mr. Dileep).
The program covers the main 12 topics in 12 weeks. 12 x 2.5 hr lessons. There will be several groups so you can join any one of them. There's no obligation to come for all the lessons. If you are weak in a particular topic just join that. But you need to register in advance so that I can reserve you a seat. Schedule is available on my website www.learntuition.sg
I only admit 4 students per class. This is to make sure that I can talk to each one of you. Notes, worksheets and past paper questions are provided.
The following is a rough allocation of how the time will be spent. Note that it's not in order. I will cover a certain topic do some questions and proceed to the next.
1hr 10mins - Theory - understandings, definitions, equations to remember, formula booklet references etc.
1 hr 15 mins - questions and applications
5 mins - break :-)
Please note that you have to be very serious about getting excellent grades. If you come to classes because your parents are pushing you or if you have too much spare time please don't be here. Some of you may have already got your offer letters from universities so you know what scores are required, I expect you to be well disciplined throughout class.
Tutor's Experience
I'm an engineer turned private tutor. I have an honours degree from University of Nottingham in Mechanical Engineering. I like to think my work experience as a mechanical engineer has enriched the way of me teaching from a practical point of view, especially for IB physics. I have been working in a famous tuition centre for the past year and now provide tuition classes on my own. Before that I worked as a part time tutor for nearly 3 years and as a full time engineering consultant for 5 years. I have taught students from UWC (Dover and East), HCI, ACS (International), SJI (International), OFS and even students from Stamford American School and International Community School.
