More Information About This Class
Currently opening few classes for registration. Classes for each subject and level are conducted separately. Class size is capped at 6 and minimum of 4 to ensure small-scale yet interactive teaching.
I'll be providing self-prepared notes and questions from the following:
- Huge resource bank of questions (from assessment books, past year school papers and official O Level questions)
- Questions from renowned examination boards overseas will also be provided as enrichment (eg. Edexcel, OCR, AQA, etc)
- A Level questions will also be addressed as there is a trend of increasing difficulty in GCE O Level Paper in the past few years
3 years of experience as a private tutor and I've personally conducted summer intensive programs for Biology and Chemistry students, with each class maintained at a size of 4~8.
I do not favour large-group coaching as this reduces the interaction and amount of time I will have with each student.
Tutor's Experience
1. 3 Years of teaching experience to a group of primary school students during Service Learning Program hosted by school. Most students made an improvement in results at the end of the academic year.
2. A1 for chemistry and biology throughout secondary school and A throughout JC. "A" equivalent grades for Mathematics.
3. Currently Teaching 3 AP Biology, 1 IB Chinese, 3 IB Biology, 2 A Level, 4 IB Chemistry as well as 1 IB Economics and 1 IB Math Student. Also teaching 3 IP Triple Science Students. All Biology students have attained 7 for their most recent class test or common test. 3 Chemistry students obtained 7 and the other 6, improving from grades 4 and 3 respectively. A Level students both achieved A from C and D respectively. As for IB Economics and Mathematics, both attained grade 7. (Grade 6 and 7 are A grade equivalent)
4. Just finished teaching 2 O LEVEL TRIPLE SCIENCE and 2 IB Chemistry students, as well as 1 IB Math Student, where all have attained Distinctions (A grades inclusive of A1 and A2).
