More Information About This Class
This class is highly geared towards examination in Grade 10. Based on latest research, each lesson is developed to be interactive and to nurture critical thinking. Students will be prepared in reading, writing, speaking and listening. Extensive notes and practice will be provided. Techniques will be taught on how to tackle reading comprehension and writing for the new syllabus. Step-by-step methods will be used to teach expository essays which many students find challenging. Current affairs will be integrated. Regular feedback will be given to help students improve.
Tutor's Experience
With over 17 years of teaching experience, I was previously HOD English. I have helped many students attain distinctions for IGCSE EFL. Some of these students are struggling writers and readers when I first met them. Nevertheless, they went on to do extremely well for the subject.
