More Information About This Class
I am super strong in all science related subjects and Chinese language and literature. I am trained as a researcher in fundamental science and understand the matters down to the very bottom. I'd like my students to be able to understand better on their subjects before burying themselves into practices that may otherwise suffocate them and cause more confusion the deeper they go. I adopt differentiated approaches depending on individual students, and they all like my style because I focus on themselves, rather than the subject matters. I learn about how they think and why they make mistakes the way they are and improve upon that rather than throwing the same questions to every student and request them to complete however they want. I teach them to think with better methodology, and ultimately achieve better scores with ease and thrill, not pain and grill.
9 years of intermittent tutoring experience, teaching upper secondary/JC science subjects during JC and undergraduate. I also volunteered to teach homeless secondary school students for free. Occasional booster session for JC students before exam season. Chinese native, able to teach secondary Chinese/Higher Chinese/Chinese Literature and JC Chinese. Full scholarship during secondary, JC, undergrad and postgrad research. Bachelor of Engineering in Engineering Science with specialization in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. PhD of Chemistry in candidature, with research focus including quantum mechanics, quantum chemistry, physical chemistry, quantum dots, nano-plasmonics.
