Experienced and highly proficient tutor with 10 years of tutoring experience.
Upper Secondary English forms the most important years of your child's English education especially with National Examinations (NA/O) just around the corner. Your child will be taught the essential step-by-step on skills and strategies to score well in the various aspects of Paper 1 while building up key skills in tougher question-answer analysis and reading annotation for paper 2.
At the same time, I will also work with your child to brush up any foundational aspects which they may be lacking in their foundational Sec1-2 years. I will also be building your child's vocabulary bank so that they may use them to write impactfully, yet profoundly.
At the same time, to prepare your child to score in the oral component, your child will also learn important thinking and reflective strategies to become a critical and empathetic communicator.
I will also adapt my lessons accordingly to your child's school needs due to variable assessment methods from different schools.
