FOUNDATIONAL & DEVELOPMENTAL ART CLASSES
Art encourages fine motor skills, neural development, and
problem-solving abilities and that it can be used effectively to teach and
understand other key subjects such as reading, writing, math, and science.
This programme aims to develop children’s illustration skills, understanding art as a narrative and exploring geometric expressions in art.
More than Art...
It is tempting to shield children from failure. Although it may feel
uncomfortable to some, we believe the need to provide opportunities for learning that come from making mistakes. Here at Art on Sundays, we teach children to embrace their mistakes. Through incidental moments, we provide
opportunities for children to develop skills of resilience and coping within a safe, loving, and supportive environment, a crucial ingredient in raising a
confident, capable and happy adult.

We encourage our students to have their own materials
*Art Materials fee: SGD 55*
When students are engaged in artistic processes, they should
develop good art classroom habits encompassing a set of values and a sense of responsibility to care for tools and materials as well as the organisation and cleanliness of work space.
We encourage our kids to be independent and take personal
responsibility in taking care of their own art materials.
What’s in the art material package?
1. Oil pastels (48 colours)
2. Poster colour (16 colours)
3. Outline pencil
4. Brush set
6. Carry-on file bag
The rest of the art materials will be provided by the studio
