Achieve 360 Learning Centres
About Tuition Centre
Achieve 360 was founded by a group of passionate teachers who recognize that every student has unique learning needs. We bridge the gaps created by mass education to unlock the potential in our students by giving them the guidance they require in a fun yet conducive learning environment.
Our teaching method comprises the principles and methods used by our teachers to enable student learning. These strategies are determined partly on subject matter to be taught and partly by the nature of the learner. This can only be achieved by constant interaction between teacher and students in a small class setting that enables the teacher to uncover teaching methods that best suit their students. Large tuition classes are largely ineffective and mimic the problems of mass education in schools. At Achieve 360, we take pains to ensure students learn in an effective small group setting that is student centric and while teachers are the authority figures in our classroom model, teachers and students play an equally active role in the learning process. The teacher's primary role is to coach and facilitate student learning and overall comprehension of material. Student learning is measured through both formal and informal form of assessment. Teaching and assessment are connected, and student learning is continuously measured during teacher instruction which can only happen in a small group setting.
Our teaching resource development unit ensures that our teachers always have access to the best teaching materials and aids to deliver the most effective lesson possible. Local curriculum is constantly evolving, and our dedicated team of curriculum developers develop the teaching materials through their own experience, often refining and improving them over years. Achieve 360 hires only the most qualified and experienced teachers who spend long hours weekly thinking about, studying, discussing and analysing curriculum and many of our teachers have acquired a specialist expertise in curriculum development. They know how to structure, organize and deliver lessons in ways that facilitate or accelerate student learning. To non-educators, some curriculum materials may seem simple or straightforward, but they often reflect a deep and sophisticated understanding of an academic discipline and of the most effective strategies for learning acquisition and classroom management. Our curriculum reflects our learning philosophy.
