More Information About This Class
Students are taught to construct a thesis statement and to present valid arguments in the paragraph. Tutor to rectify grammar and vocabulary and to address themes relevant to the text with individual style of writing. Taught in SAP schools including IP and IB programs. Currently teaching Final year IP and IP students on how to address topics. Lessons are strictly online as writing is the main focus. Materials are provided. IB student aced in Yr 2 English Language and Arts.
Tutor's Experience
A Veteran in the English Language, Ms Heng motivates and guides students to excel in Essay writing. She challenges her students to conceptualize and molds their individual style of writing, aligned to the exam syllabus. Having taught in MOE's SAP schools and Independent schools, she has helped many students.
A Masters Graduate, she initiated the research, conceptualization and the writing for the first environmental report for Keppel Land. She is a firm believer that writing has to be nurtured whereby students will gradually learn to think and write independently, meeting the exam criteria.
