More Information About This Class
I provide customised lesson plans so that students will be able to cover the syllabus in time. I also provide my own in-house materials with progressive difficulty levels (not using assessment books).
My tuition programme is exam-centric and results-oriented. I train students intensively on the different components of the exam paper and focus on the parts most students have difficulty tackling.
My tuition programme is aimed at helping students achieve a more in depth grasp of the important Mathematics concepts like calculus, trigonometry, geometry and statistics. I will also advise students on the importance of doing well for A.Maths if they are planning to progress to relevant courses in Polytechnics or taking H2 Mathematics in JC.
I also communicate with parents regularly for updates on the students' progress.
I offer referral discount off the monthly fee if you bring two or more students for the same class.
Tutor's Experience
I'm Hakim, an NUS Math graduate and full-time tutor since 2007. I run my own tuition centre, Nawwaf Centre (www.nawwafcentre.com), which has classes in 5 locations in Singapore. I conduct my classes mainly in Eunos. Besides tutoring, I also have teaching experience in schools.
I am very passionate about the subject and make it my aim to not just help students improve their Math grades, but to be more interested in the subject. A large part of why students find the subject difficult is because they do not see the significance and applicability of the subject in their lives. My tuition programme is crafted to include motivational components.
