More Information About This Class
Strong foundation in lower secondary Math is essential to excel in the O'Levels during the later stage.
For the start, I will focus mainly on Algebra as I would regard it to be the most important topic. Almost all questions during Math exams would involve Algebra.
I do not really use textbooks. Instead, I normally use plain papers and create notes while teaching as it can get the students involved in the session. This way, it would not be a boring and mundane lesson, but a leaning session where everyone gets to be involved.
At the end of every lesson, I would just give a bit of homework as I regard secondary school student as young adults. Instead of me giving them homework, I expect them to clarify any questions and doubts with me should they have any queries.
Lastly, what I require from student, is the full attention throughout the lessons and I can guarantee A1 is easily achievable:)

Hi, I'm Roger, 27 years old and studied in NTU, School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. I grew up in Singapore, did relatively well in my O and A levels and have been a part time tutor since 2008. I'm currently working as an project design engineer in a Japanese firm. Other than spending time on tuition lessons with my 8 students, I play soccer and trek around the world during my leisure time. I also participated in the Math Olympiads in JC School and nearly won. Passion for Math has always kept me going and the sense of satisfaction kicks in every time my student does well for exams:)
