More Information About This Class
The only subject I teach is Math as it is a subject I seem to have a clear and easy understanding of. My teaching method involves making the student understand the root if mathematical concepts so they will be able to tackle questions no matter how hard they are and as always practice, practice, practice.
I would aim to finish teaching the entire syllabus before the school teachers do so and focus more time on completing past year papers. I emphasis greatly on presentation of worked answers as well and neat handwriting, all of which i feel are crucial for the student in understanding the problem solved.
Aside from tuition and the homework I give, I would encourage students to practice sums independently on a daily basis. This simple practice in my experience helps eliminate carelessness.
Tutor's Experience
I have just begun private tutoring this year, with two upper primary school students, one P5 and one P6, under my wing. Both have shown significant improvements since CA1 and are currently scoring in the 90s.
