More Information About This Class
Using the students' maths textbooks, I will go through with them what they have learnt at school. Upon discovery of any concepts which they have misunderstood, I will correct them using examples whenever possible.
I will instruct the students to complete and bring their school homework, practice papers given at school and their own assessment books (purchasable from Popular, MPH, etc.) to my class. For students without assessment books, I will buy them on my own and get them to practice the questions in these. I will go through / mark these and explain the logic behind incorrect answers.
I will purchase exam papers of various primary schools and MOE past year PSLE papers
(i) from bookstores / bookshops in Singapore
(ii) by contacting each individual student's primary school teachers / admin
(iii) by contacting Cedar Primary school (my primary school) teachers / admin and get my students to practice. I will go through / mark their answers and explain the logic behind incorrect answers.
I will update the parents on the students' progress every 2 weeks.
Tutor's Experience
1) Tutored a Primary 4 student in Maths in 2003 for 2 months.
2) Tutored a Secondary 3 (& 4) student in Additional Mathematics in 2004 - 2005 for 10 months.
