More Information About This Class

Exclusively for Primary One students, this class focuses on strengthening young learners' foundation in the English Language. Besides following the schools' curriculum, lessons would cover basic and advanced phonics and grammar, which are crucial knowledge for lower primary students.

Having been a student of courses that specialise in teaching the English Language, such as I Can Read and the British Council, I would strive to incorporate into the lessons the unique teaching styles of these programmes. Furthermore, students' learning progress and behaviours would be monitored closely and shared with parents, to maximise the learning and well-being of the young children. With this, I hope that we can work together as parents and tutor, to maintain or enhance your child's interest in learning and not just his/her knowledge.

Features of this class:
▪Drama & role-playing
▪Exposure to short passages and poems
▪Reading (to familiarise students with different sentence structures, words and methods to understand challenging vocabularies)
▪Spelling & Dictation
