More Information About This Class
We will be covering all the physics topics that are outlined in the MOE syllabus. All learning materials such as custom worksheets and notes would be provided by Mr Rama each class. Materials can be emailed to you before each class or handed in hard copy each class.
Class size is capped at 4 to ensure that each student can get close attention and help needed. Mr Rama would be able to assist you according to your school's lesson plan and what topic you currently need help with.
Additional support and classes can be arranged in case you need more help. Keep calm and get ready to excel in Physics!
Tutor's Experience
For the past 25 years, I have been a full time science tutor for secondary level students specializing in physics, chemistry and biology. I am currently in and have spent 12 years of my teaching career in a reputable tuition center in Singapore. I teach in multiple branches for students from upper primary level to students preparing for their 'O' levels.
Given my experience, I am extremely familiar with the syllabus and regularly provide my students with customized work sheets based on the lesson plan of the school and their level of understanding. Apart from this, I used to tutor private 'O' level candidates in a private school for 5 years. Prior to that, I used to be a relief teacher under MOE for 8 years. Over the years, I have worked with students one to one and also class sizes up to 30.
I have successfully helped students with various learning styles and levels of confidence to become well performing students in school. In cases where students are overwhelmed, I have assisted them in planning out their revision techniques and timetables and taught them how to work smart so that they feel more at ease. In my career as a teacher I have helped many students excel in their sciences and am looking forward to the chance to assist more students become more confident well-performing individuals both in and out of school.
