Young teenagers have not been exposed much to the business and economy. Thus, we find that the young learners' biggest challenge is to understand the business process and business terms such as sales revenue, expenses, inventory, assets, liabilities, etc. It is only when the learners understand these business jargons, then they know how to apply the accounting rules to answer test/exam questions accordingly.

To start off, we will guide students to understand the business jargons using layman terms and teach them in a way that they find it relatable. Thereafter, POA will be considered a subject that requires nothing more than common sense. No literal memorising is required. In fact, POA relies very much on the basics. As long as your child sits through enough lessons to cover the first 3 topics of foundation, the rest of the syllabus will be a breeze! Please do not allow your child to give up / drop POA for their O/N level as our students always include it as part of their L1R5 or ELR2B2 and get into their desired JC or polytechnic's course. Besides, it will also be practically useful for your child as they learn to manage their finance and understand how the economy works at this young age!

A solid groundwork is necessary before your child can move to the more advanced topics. We always guide and enforce the importance of just the first 3 topics of POA, and many of our students are good to go for the rest of the topics with just simple guidance.

We have experience teaching both O level and N level students with customised teaching techniques to help them improve and understand the subject better.
