The music syllabus and the teacher we have right now is good. If not for the teacher, we would leave. This school is just all about making money. The student's learning is secondary. Please check- the teachers for the twinkle classes are NOT trained in violin. The have just been taught the basics by Mrs Lee, the boss. Parents won't know any better unless they have a musical background. Whilst maybe precious resources (trained violinists) are to be for the 1:1 sessions, qualifications of the teachers for group should be disclosed and prices should be adjusted accordingly. Not charge a high rate and parents paying it thinking they are getting a truely qualified teacher for their child. When this was discovered and brought up , it was just ignored. There is a fees increase when one progresses to a different grade. Why this is so when lesson time is identical , teacher remains the same , nothing else changes, is puzzling and can only lead to the conclusion that it is exploitation of the parent who have no choice should they like the teacher and want to continue with him. I would NOT recommend this school .
