About Tuition Centre

Words Kitchen originates from a belief, a belief that language should be learnt in a natural and engaging way. We are the first in Singapore that teaches conversational Mandarin through hands-on activities such as drinks-making and bakery. Through this proprietary approach, we strive to integrate Mandarin learning into real life settings, enabling students to master this language in a fun and easy way. Students will also get to participate in role-acting activities, while perfecting their Mandarin conversational skills. This approach is especially beneficial for foreigners who are learning Mandarin as a foreign language.

In our secondary school program which is designed based on MOE syllabus, we aim to develop students' articulation and critical thinking skills, grooming bilingual young leaders who are purpose-driven and empower them with deep insights. The traditional method of teaching Mandarin can be regimental and even irrelevant to our real life context, causing students to lost interest in this language. With the integration of innovation elements in our curriculum, we strive to build teenagers' confidence in expressing themselves using Mandarin.
