More Information About This Class
This English language tuition class is meant for students who are in secondary 1 or secondary 2 in the academic year of 2021. Our in-house curriculum has been designed to follow MOE's syllabus closely.
Our English language curriculum covers all four papers including listening. Students are expected to regularly attempt and correct their writing (situational or continuous) as well as constantly work on their answering techniques in the comprehension.
They will also be taught examination techniques to secure their distinction for EL. This is a small class of maximum 6 students taught.
This class is taught by our full-time tutor, Mr. Anthony Yoong who graduated with NUS Bachelors of political science. His love for the English language and writing pushed him to pursue a career in education.
Apart from being registered with the Ministry of Singapore, LEJOUR is guided by its Academic and Assessment Board. The directors of the board each have at least a decade of teaching experience.
Mr. Willy Tan, the supervisor of centre, has been teaching since 2008. He was awarded the Master of Education (Curriculum & Teaching) by NIE & is passionate about encourage self-efficacy among students.

Lejour is conveniently located near numerous schools like Junyuan & St. Hilda's. There are also lots of eateries and supermarkets so that parents can have a meal or shop for essentials while waiting for the kids to finish their classes. The tutors are friendly and patient with the kids. They have extensive resources. What I like best about the centre is that the centre is very clean.
