More Information About This Class
This mathematics class is meant for students who are in secondary 1 in the academic year of 2021. Our in-house curriculum has been designed to follow MOE's syllabus closely.
This is a small class of maximum 6 students taught by our full-time tutor, Mr. Anthony Yoong who graduated from NUS. Students can expect high engagement levels. We focus heavily on structured questions and pique the interests of students through mini-experiments during lessons. For example, students are taught to set-up & use the microscope to observe different types of cells.
Apart from being registered with the Ministry of Singapore, LEJOUR is guided by its Academic and Assessment Board. The directors of the board each have at least a decade of teaching experience.
Mr. Willy Tan, the co-founder of the school, has been teaching since 2008. He was awarded the Master of Education (Curriculum & Teaching) by NIE & is passionate about encourage self-efficacy among students.

Lejour is conveniently located near numerous schools like Junyuan & St. Hilda's. There are also lots of eateries and supermarkets so that parents can have a meal or shop for essentials while waiting for the kids to finish their classes. The tutors are friendly and patient with the kids. They have extensive resources. What I like best about the centre is that the centre is very clean.
